Each year thousands of Americans are impacted by fraud and scams that threaten them, their personal information and finances. Seniors, 60+ and older, are often the main target of these scams with over 101,000+ complaints filed in 2023 and over $3.4 billion dollars lost to scammers.

I have been with Evergreen for three years, transitioning between part-time and full-time roles to accommodate my school schedule.

Worked at Evergreen for over 2.5 years. Work full-time usually in the summers when there is no school, and work part-time while I am in school. Work weekends and shifts when I am available during the school year.

I worked at Evergreen as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 3 years. I graduated Nursing School from LSC and now am back as a full time Registered Nurse. 

Many of our residents are susceptible to illness, where even a cold, “the flu”, COVID, norovirus, and other viral or bacterial illnesses could have serious consequences, not just for your loved one(s), but for all residents as it spreads through the building.

We are happy to announce we have just received guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health stating people who are fully vaccinated can sit closer than 6 feet apart during organized activities and dining in the assisted living settings.

Over the past two weeks, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) released various recommendations and guidance related to visitation in long-term care settings, as well as broad recommendations for individuals not residing or working in healthcare settings.

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has announced updated guidance for long-term care organizations for indoor visitation programs (replacing previous guidance issued in August 2020).
